About Frö's Craftsmanship – Our Commitments

1|Our Stance on Craftsmanship

At Frö, we value craftsmanship that is sustainable and long-lasting, where customers, the brand, and manufacturers are all aligned.

Children's clothing, while "consumable" as children quickly outgrow sizes, undergoes the same cutting, sewing, and inspection processes as adult clothing.
Each item is created with the skill and time of artisans.

While preserving this value, we aim for prices that make our products easily accessible for everyday life.

2|What We Consider "Just Right Quality"

Frö prioritizes the balance between price and quality, with the premise that "we want our clothes to be worn often in daily life."

To completely eliminate even small individual differences that inevitably arise during manufacturing, it would be necessary to make materials, manufacturing methods, and inspection processes more stringent, which would significantly impact the price.

This is to honestly convey our goal of "creating clothing that integrates into daily life at a fair price."

Increased disposal of items that are difficult to resell, leading to higher environmental impact.
Excessive returns placing undue burden on artisans and factories.
Rising production costs potentially affecting product prices for customers.

To ensure "sustainable craftsmanship," we have established criteria for judgment.

3|About "Defects" and "Within Specification"

Apparel products involve many manual processes, inevitably leading to small "individual differences."

At Frö, we define the following occurrences as generally being "within specification (not considered defects)":

・Slight unevenness of threads at the start or end of sewing, or small bumps seen at the knitted edge.
・Thread protrusions from backstitching or thread trimming.
・Individual differences in pattern placement due to cutting position.
・Slight protrusions from knitted fabric.
・Small slubs (yarn knots) found in imported fabrics.
・Minor wrinkles that will smooth out with wear or washing.
・Acceptable sewing errors occurring during the production process.
・Chalk marks from the production process or tiny stains that wash out.
・Odors on the product that can be resolved by washing.

These are common standards for products shipped as normal after quality inspection.
If you have any questions regarding our products, please feel free to contact us.
